With the strong and able leadership of Retired Vice Admiral Virgilio Q. Marcelo, the Narra Multipurpose Cooperative excelled in community transformation towards growth and development. With this, the Regional Development Council (RDC) of Region 1 conferred a due recognition to the Narra Multipurpose Cooperative as the Most Outstanding Entrepreneur in Region 1, Agriculture Sector, demonstrating the qualities and characteristics of an entrepreneur integrating enterprising business pursuit and social responsibility worthy of emulation by other entities in Region 1. The award was conferred on March 24, 2008 during the RDC Meeting and Awarding Ceremony at Cabugao, Ilocos Sur.
