In line and in support to the government’s green Philippines and food sufficiency programs, the Narra Coop established a Plant Nursery and Seedling Bank, and efforts such as construction of a tissue culture laboratory are geared towards the attainment of a world class status. In this way, it could effectively contribute to the government’s thrust to accelerate the rehabilitation of the country’s environment and natural resources. The Plant Nursery and Seedling Bank propagates various fruit-bearing and forest trees, as well as high quality vegetable seedlings and ornamental plants.
